I did start a thread in General Health so apologies if I am doubling up but appt is tomorrow so I am keen to get any opinions I can before then ?
I was scheduled for an operation in 2109. Due to Covid & general muck ups I am only now seeing the Surgeon again. I would like to ask if I can have a fresh x-ray / mri as it was nearly 5 years ago. Do you think that is reasonable?
Also - the surgery was for a Brostrom procedure - my understanding is that tightens up the ligaments around the ankles if you have weak ankles.
I don't particularly. My issues are peroneal nerve entrapement & tarsal tunnel issues (various surgeries over last 10 years have given some relief) Also I now have a lot of pain in top of feet as well as the bottom (heel spurs & very flat feet) & Im worried as my right foot now feels like it is turning inwards & dragging.
I remember the Surgeon was brusque to say the least so I was hoping someone might be able to suggest what I should be asking about as I'm not very good at advocation for myself at times.
