I’ve just finished the Strike series on Audible.

Can anyone suggest anything to listen to now?
Its not my usual thing at all; but I loved it, and esp The Running Grave and now I’m feeling a little lost without a great story in my ear.

Any suggestions please?
Thanks so much in advance! X

Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie books are great.

Oooh they are brilliant aren’t they!

I suggest Cara Hunter’s Adam Fawley books. They are similar in the sense that they are crime and have a great narrator (Lee Ingleby plus others) but other than that very different, as they don’t focus on a couple so much as a wider team. They are fantastic though, brilliant mysteries.

Also agree with Jackson Brodie, love those. Magpie Murders and The Word is Murder series by Anthony Horowitz also excellent.

I hope you enjoy them. He's another complex character and the stories have enough depth, and twists and turns.
