Has anyone else's Facebook feed gone weird?

I'm only seeing content from the pages I've liked, and nothing from my friends.

Try going into the menu and choosing feeds, although the view of what I see has changed massively over the last few years, lots of advertising

My feed hasn't but I can't see any of the reactions on posts. It's literally blank circles instead of the heart or the thumbs up etc!?
Anyone else got this?
So I can't react to a post as I don't know which blank circle is for which reaction

It's been like that for quite some time now. Another thing I noticed is when you have a conversation with someone whether it's talking on the phone or face to face with someone you will see ads appear on your phone about exactly what you've been talking about even though you haven't searched online for it.

Ads, suggested content, sponsored content etc.

Almost nothing from people.

Mine was doing this and was also "jerky" when scrolling - went into my app settings and cleared cache and that seems to have fixed it.

Thanks how do I clear cache?

Go into settings then apps, select Facebook and then click storage and it should hopefully be there (I'm on android on Samsung S22).

Same here! My scroll also seems to have quite a hesitation

I only log in every now and then but I’ve noticed it’s just posts from pages, ads and suggested content from other pages, literally one ‘person’ post from at the start of the news feed.

Mines the same, when I scroll it lags, the same when I am looking through the reels/short video clips. I also can't see likes.

Yes it has been terrible for the last week. Nothing has helped even when I reinstalled the app. I have to go onto ‘feeds’ and ‘friends’ to see anything new.

Yes and it’s a pain in the arse! My FB seems to think I’m obsessed with American cars and how to identify cookie cutters dispute having never interacted with anything to do with them. I’ve also noticed I’m struggling to see the groups I am actually in for my hobby and I’m not longer getting notified when anyone else posts on a thread I’m in. It is infuriating.

Very few of my friends use FB now and I am starting to prefer instagram.

Mine has been sending me updates from a terrier owning group who go ratting.

I have absolutely no idea why. I’ve reported the posts, but apparently they aren’t breaking any rules.

Completely off topic but being killed by a dog would be a darned sight quicker and kinder to the rat than being poisoned by the stuff almost every company use. It removes the chance of unintended poisoning of birds of prey and other wildlife, too.

Yes! Mine had been weird for about a week. The ‘people you might know’ selection is normally mainly friends of friends and other random people from the same country as me. Since about a week ago it had been exclusively people in Turkey. I have never been there and don’t know anyone from there. I thought I had been hacked.

Then about three days ago the layout and font changed on the whole site and I was getting updated for groups I don’t follow or have any connection with. It’s like the algorithms have had a meltdown.

Maybe, but their delight in watching four dogs pulling at its corpse was sickening.

I concede that it probably doesn’t need advertising as a page you might like on Facebook.

I keep getting very, very annoying reels from a very, very unfunny woman called Monica Geldart.
I have tried all the 'never see this post again' things and she will not go away!

No more than usual but it’s so full of adverts, I can hardly be arsed with it anymore.

I looked up period underwear out of casual interest the other day and now my feed is full of women’s arses 🙈.

FB also thinks I’m interested in badly written, muses poetry, badly written what can only be described werewolve porn (maybe some sort of fanfic, this seemed to appear when I watched Twilight) and that I am an Uber driver in some random country, I think it might have been Cambodia 🤷‍♀️.

I'd noticed that the 'suggestions' in the reels have been somewhat odd.
Basically gay men advertising their wares in skimpy wet shorts.
As a woman who dates other women, men don't particularly interest me in this way 🙄

Yep, same here, both me and dh. One reason we just don't bother logging on any more. I use it to check a local traffic and news site and that's it. I also get adverts for things dh has searched for, maybe because he's listed as my husband in my info so my account is linked to his? He was recently searching up new boilers and now I'm getting ads for local boiler and heating services 😡

No it’s because you share the same IP address, which is even more annoying as it’s stalking isn’t even giving you things you’re interested in!
