Hello, I currently have a lovely holiday home in St Ives just outside ringwood and although we love Dorset/Hampshire location, st ives isn’t for us. My children are grown up and my husband and I are looking to relocate / retire early but although st ives is very central to a lot of things, everything is accessible by car - we’d love to be in a pretty village with shops or small town. We don’t care about schools, but would like a nice, pretty, safe place to live with a nice village or town centre, not too far from The forest / beach. Budget is around 700k for 3 bed. Milford on sea or burley are two places that we like, but our money doesn’t go far - where else should we look at to find a sociable friendly community. Or is there anywhere we should avoid?
