If your under 10-year old has had a recent blood test how long did you wait to get an appointment please?
We have a choice of 3 hospitals for paediatric blood tests and the earliest appointment I can get is in 6 weeks time! Is this normal??
The test isn’t urgent but in the meantime my child is experiencing symptoms which we have no idea what it could be (and the GP has no idea, hence the blood test to rule
our anything obvious).
Pre-Covid I’d just wander down to our local hospital and be seen the same day!
