Child MRI - underwire bra?

My DD is having an MRI this week and I am allowed to stay in the room with her. When I have had a scan, I have had to remove my bra, but just wondering if I will need to remove if I am just in the room?

Well I accompanied my 11yr old for his MRI yesterday and I didn't get asked about my bra at all. I did have to fill in a questionnaire about whether I'd had any operations, metal inserts etc and they double checked I didn't have a belt on but that was it. Oh and I had to leave my handbag in a locker.

Like Alex, I had to leave my phone and jewellery in a locker, but they didn’t ask about my bra (which was underwires as I don’t have any that aren’t). I was sitting about 2m away, they put a plastic chair out for me and told me not to move it. It was all fine (though chilly).

Apparently they wipe a lot of Oyster cards by mistake!

Thank you so much! Mine are all underwired too, so very pleased to hear!
