Help! Washed toys in dishwasher...

I was given some second hand plastic fruit and vegetables recently and have been told that putting them through the dishwasher was a good way to ensure they are clean - so that is what I did. There are no visible holes in them, so I didn't think they would fill with water, but they have 😟. Well, not filled, but they definitely have liquid in them which I can't squeeze out. How can I get them emptied and dry before my grandson comes to stay in a couple of weeks?

Hot paperclip or thick needle, make some holes in them.

Make sure that they dry out properly or they will go mouldy for certain!

Milton solution wiped over will give you more control going forward I feel.

Spin them around in something like a net bag or salad spinner and see if you can get the droplets out?

Thank you for your suggestions. Making a bigger hole is the way to go I think - should have thought of that myself!

Make a second hole at the opposite end. That will help them drain better than just one hole.
