If you have a busy life, HOW do you have the energy?

I'm in my early 40s and have quite a demanding (but really interesting and fulfilling) job. Not long hours as such although it currently involves one very early morning and one late night.

I'm constantly exhausted. 😩 In the past few months I've tried to improve my diet and take vitamins/minerals. I get an average of 8 hours of sleep although there are two nights a week that's just not possible due to my schedule. I feel generally happy and fulfilled so it's not a lack of motivation or depression or anything like that (been there in the past so I know the difference). I've also considered perimeno as a reason but wouldn't want to take HRT at this age even if it was.

I know lots of people have busy lives throughout their 40s and 50s - how do you manage it? What gives you energy other than sleep, nutrition and general feeling of fulfilment?

I still eat on the go but have fruit in my bag for snacking.
