I had a haircut last week that I really wasn’t happy with. Ordinarily I am not confrontational and would be too shy to complain. But it looks dreadful. It’s not what we discussed beforehand at all. The hairdresser has even cut me a fringe in when we decided before the cut that I wouldn’t have a fringe. I was so upset when I saw what she had done that I had to tell her I hated it. She didn’t acknowledge what I was saying at all and just started guilt tripping me by telling me that her husband was dying of cancer. She even had the cheek to suggest that instead of giving me a refund on the deposit I’d paid that she instead put the money I paid into a Just Giving page she’s set up in her husbands memory! Bear in mind that he’s not even dead yet!
I didn’t pay for the haircut in the end but it still looks shit because the fringe obviously cant be magically lengthened so I guess I’ll just have to wait for it to grow back. I’ve got my friends friend (a hairdresser) coming over this week to see if there’s anything she can do to make my hair look any better, but I won’t be holding my breath.
