Well at the time I was Team Blane because I really fancied Andrew McCarthy but clearly Duckie was so much cooler.

He wasted an awful lot of his life riding his bike past Andie's house and waiting outside nightclubs for her while all she was bothered about was making pink costumes and getting all embarrassed about where she lived.

I also loved Iona. She made me want to staple albums to my ceiling.
