I need a new hoover & cordless are looking tempting.

What model do you have? & would you recommend it?

Thanks!

Vax blade.
We have only the basic one but when it dies we will be re buying a blade with two battery packs.

I have arthritis in my wrists but it’s light enough for me to hold and manoeuvre with ease. Even my stairs get done a lot more regularly than they have ever been done in the past. The down side is a small dust collector but it’s easy to empty. I have spare filters so have new ones to switch out when the dirty ones need a good wash. Charges quickly but I have to be really quick to do a light clean of the whole house before the battery dies, I’d love a twin battery one so I could do a full clean of the whole hose without having to charge it. Good suction, the amount it got up out of our just hoovered (with our old one) carpets was unreal.

I like my shark cordless pet I paid £189 in dec 2022 Black Friday

I have a bad back and the corded ones are too heavy. It's great I can zip round the ground floor in 5 mins rather than 20 and do it daily.

I borrowed my mums corded shark to deep clean the carpets upstairs and it was awful! I means the suction was great but it was so haeavy and cumbersome and killed my back and I kept catch the cord.

I probably get the shark stratos now

Anyone else?

I'm hoping to order at the end of the week for half term delivery.

We have the cordless shark which is so handy and a honiture robot hoover to keep on top of things because we have a dog !

We have had both shark and dyson, shark more long lasting, but imo they are really just for a quick run round. Have need to go back to a plug in corded one for proper cleaning
