Just got the shock of my life when I looked at the bird table!! Shame it isn't the Garden bird watch this weekend. I could have added the greater fluffy cat bird to the list!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Not a clue who it belongs to!!

That’s a very rare specimen of felixfeathernonbirdicus. Highly unusual not to see this species upside down in front of a fire or head first in the catnip.

it prefers dreamies or whiskas over mealworms, but will deign to eat tuna and the occasional freshly dispatched mouse. It is thought in this last respect it might has evolved from the species more regularly known as an ‘Eagle’ given they both have extremely sharp talons and eyesight that can spot a fresh meal at 100 yards as well as freshly laundered linens. Although both species treat clean linen in very different ways.

hth

I said to Mum imagine if I had walked right up to the table and seen it! It wasn't in the least bit nervous..
Its gone now and normal service is resumed at the bird table!

Just found out she belongs to our next door neighbour. The funny thing is... We gave her a birthday card with a cartoon cat on a bird table with its mouth open!!

The caption has to be something like "No takeaway, I'll dine in thanks"

My cat would love it in there too, she likes enclosed spaces. I opened a lower kitchen drawer the other day, turned round to shut and and heard a yowl and she'd climbed inside it and was sitting at the gap at the back!

Clearly the cat understood the message from the card 😉

The lady who owns the cat jokingly said she hadnt shown the cat the card!!

known in the locality as simply “gorgeous”.

LastCatButOne had a liking for the comfy roofed viewing platform we know as a bird table. The current ones are too stupid/fat.

ClematisRock · 03/02/2024 20:13

Does this specimen mean that your bird survey resulted in absolutely no birds whatsoever in your garden?
Trust it to make an appearance during your survey!
