Dating rules?

Are there rules of dating? Im really new to it. My friends say date multiple people at once and keep options open. But I find that hard, I’m so busy I don’t really have time to get to know multiple men and go on multiple dates. I’m also really fussy. So as much as I want to I just don’t feel it works for me?

What would you say are key rules for dating for someone who’s come out of a relatively long relationship? I’m really slow with things too. I’m in no rush

I did OLD for a while.

I'd chat on the app to more than one at a time, but I'd not date more than one at a time.

I'd chat in the app.
Swap phone numbers with ones I wanted to meet.
Meet for a coffee.
If I liked them, then I'd have a proper date.
If i liked them at that point, I'd stop talking to others and have more dates with them.
