East Midlands airport is about 8 miles from Derby, that's the closest

East Midlands. It's about 14 miles.

Is that something you can google rather than ask mumsnet!

East Midlands Airport.

Google is your friend!

Cross posted! Depends on which area of Derby, I guess.

If Derby city, then East Midlands followed by Birmingham.

MermaidEyes · 02/02/2024 20:06

Just to add it depends where you're flying from as East Midlands is only a small airport that doesn't fly to long haul destinations.

East Midlands but it depends where you're flying from.

East Midlands, then Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Stansted. Humberside isn't that far away but very limited passenger flights.
