You know when you’re a kid and you laugh so hard your stomach hurts, you can’t breathe, you think you might choke or faint or be sick and it’s wonderful! and then when you’re an adult and work, commuting, children, life admin, bereavement, bills, stress (this is a sweeping comment) and maybe you still find things amusing but not properly belly-aching funny?
a thread about what makes people interesting on here had me thinking that number one for me is humour. Not just wry humour but my type of funny that has me belly laughing and I really notice those types of people because most people are just sort of kind of funny, like you go huhuh good one but the real diamonds make you feel like you might wee.
I have funny friends, but maybe 2 or 3 who make me belly laugh, ugly laugh and I love listening to them and being in their company and come away feeling happy.
obviously humour is different for everyone but do people still belly laugh often?
