Norithisterone when period has already started

I'm on holiday and wanted to delay my period, but it came early so I didn't get the chance to start the Norithisterone pills three days before as planned. So I started taking them on the day it started instead, and it has stopped the bleeding - although I'm still getting cramps and backache.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and what happened when you stopped taking the Norithisterone...? Slightly dreading it...

You will probably have a heavier period than normal and the next couple may be disrupted. It’ll soon go back to normal though!

I did this and period was a bit heavier than normal after but not ridiculously so, don’t worry about it

It will take about 2/3 days for your period to stop but it will be lighter.

I take norohisterone because the doctor prescribed it because of had a period for 3 weeks and no sign of stopping.

You're period will restart 3 days after you finish taking the tablet and it might be a bit heavier than usual but can depend

Thanks everyone - yes, anticipating a heavier period. So weird to have cramping and no bleeding.
