Do I have incontinence

Lately I've noticed that when I wake up my knickers are a bit damp. Normally I would assume it's discharge type stuff but upon smelling, it's definitely some wee. It's not loads but definitely at some point I've leaked.

I have also noticed this during the day when I'm up and about. I think it's just discharge that's made my knickers a bit damp but it's wee.

I don't even feel a trickle or anything.

I always thought incontinence was where you're running / jumping and a bit of wee comes out. Sounds stupid but didn't realise you could just wee and not even feel it.

Would kegels / pelvic floor exercises help with this or is it something more serious. Can it be managed with exercise?

I will be calling my GP.

Incontinence can be both (I have both. I have long term bladder issues). There is medication you can take and things you can do to help so definitely see your GP. In the meantime get some different liners and pads to try and they work so well and can give you back a lot of confidence (I really like the tena lights liners and always discreet pads).

Get some TENA for now, and get a referral to the women’s physio.

Hmm. It could be but check with your doctor.

I definitely have it. Just sitting up in bed, coughing , sneezing etc can do it. But mine is a tsunami! Sometimes I get no warning and it just comes. Not helped by the fact I have to have a water tablet and two other of my tablets also get rid of excess liquid! All to do with my heart and other problems.
