Would love your advice please.
I recently moved into a new house, however the gaz and electrical are provided by two separate companies. I want to consolidate them into one company to support our energy. And I want to do direct debit rather than pay as you go, which we currently have.
Now in order to move to a company with direct debit, it requires us to communicate with the two companies that exist and set up a direct debit account, which will take over a month for the installation of a smart meter and setting up a direct debit.
Should I join a new company that is pay as you go that can take over both electricity and gas and set up a smart meter or should I go through this process, after a month join the company we want to join after the direct debit are sorted?
