Agreed the tommee tippee ones are great as they can be used either with baby's arms in or arms out, depending what they prefer. DC1 hated being swaddled and slept arms-up, DC2 needed their arms swaddling in order to sleep.

My daughter loves to be swaddled.

We have tonnes tippee and purflo.

Both are good but I prefer Purflo as it has breathable mesh panels

My DD was born during a heatwave & the Halo ones were a godsend, I assume they do winter weight ones also.

i chose them because they’re recommended by the Lullaby Trust and because you can use them from birth (7lbs) whereas lots of others say 0-6 months but actually have a 10lb starting weight.

Another vote for love to dream swaddle up. Our LO hated being put down to sleep until we tried this which made a huge difference

botleybump · 01/02/2024 06:38

Hated the tommee tippee ones because you have to put their arms through the holes to get them in so a faff in those early days when they fall asleep feeding and need to be transferred.
We loved the Snuz ones and Sainsbury's and JoJo Maman, as all had shoulder poppers instead so you can lay them down and assemble the bag around them.
