Will I ever find a job?

Long term user but name changed as this could be outing.

I'm having to find a new job because of problems at work.

So far I've had interviews but it feels like there's a lot more messing around. Recruiters gear you up and say they've looked at your CV but then show they haven't and say you're not suitable after wasting your time. Companies say they need time to review things but never come back to you. Others mess you around in other ways.

Is there anyone out there with some good news stories about finding jobs? I need to hear that there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Agency work is always available, find a recruitment agency and you'll have a job by Friday

I was in the same boat not so long ago for the same reasons.

Recruiters are a difficult bunch and the process is difficult. It's all a numbers game and using everything at your disposal. Ask contacts that you trust if they can refer you for anything. Use more than one job application website. Reach out to old contacts in your industry. Also get someone to review your CV too just to make sure you get your best foot forward.
