Legoland Break

Looking to book a legoland break for my children but it's coming up so expensive! £500 for one night! Is that how much things are now 😕

Any other alternative breaks suitable for toddlers or anyway to make things cheaper?

I think that we have previously paid around £375-400 for a themed room, entrance and dinner. But yes it is extortionate. Our kids absolutely loved it and obviously you look through the same rose tinted glasses at the time, but looking back it was a cheaply built hotel and a sub par theme park.

Blue stone is good for toddlers/young children for a break.

They usually have deals with nearby hotels that are cheaper. We have done that before and stayed in the nearby Hilton. In May they are opening a new cabin style accommodation in a little village style place, not sure how much it is but looks good.

Chessington is cheaper. We’ve got a one night stay in the safari hotel booked for a weekend in March for £350 for a family of 4. Admittedly that only included breakfast and only includes 1 day at the theme park so we’ll end up paying more, but it might be worth looking into.

If you want one of the Legoland hotels then yes, it really is that expensive sadly. The hotel is a lot of fun for kids but nothing special for adults and the food is not great. Nice to be able to walk so easily to and from the park from your hotel but the so called early access will probably only give you one ride as a lot of rides dont open till the gates do. Take a look at the hotels they have deals with on their websites which are quite a lot cheaper, also plenty of Premier Inns/Air Bnbs etc nearby.
