Kenwood K Mixer Dimensions (Kenwood don't know!)

I wonder if anyone could help me with the height of the K mixer when fully raised to remove the bowl - I only have a clearance of 48.5cm under my overhead cabinets, so need to know this before we shell out a couple of hundred quid on a new mixer.
I asked Kenwood, but would you believe it - they didn't know!

34cm OP - it’ll fit!

Peacelily001 · 29/01/2024 10:56

Oh shit, just saw you need it fully raised!

Hang on

AlohaRose · 29/01/2024 10:57

Definitely won’t fit. The height of the mixer when down is 35.5 cm according to Kenwood’s own dimensions, so you only have 13 cm left to play with to raise the arm, that definitely is not enough to give you clearance to get the bowl out. The attachment will still be well down in the bowl.

44cm - it’ll still fit Grin

Excuse all the crap in the background, I’m having a sort out.

@Peacelily001
Many, many thanks! Couldn't believe it when Kenwood didn't know.
It's going to be my 60th birthday present and Kenwood have a really good bargain on at the moment - 49% off!
Love your bright orange one!

I have to pull mine forward from the upper cabinets to raise it..personally I'd get a kitchenaid as i have had a lot of trouble with kmixes.

Peacelily001 · 29/01/2024 12:30

@allthelittleangelsriseupriseup you’re welcome!
I’ve not used mine yet (it was given to me) but love the orange colour Smile
49% off is a total bargain!

@Peacelily001
My thoughts exactly - why pay £449, when you could pay £229!
Was originally looking at a Kitchenaid in Blue velvet, but it's silly money and I've read some bad reviews of Kitchenaids falling to bits- and I need a mixer that works and keeps working - I do a lot of baking.
