Just had my DD send off the docs and paid the fee. I know they don't message to say it's arrived but it's a worry either way the important docs in.
Did you ever hear from them and how long has it all taken so far?

It took my sister in law two years, the advice is 19 months. That timeline restarts should there be any errors or omissions.

Do you mind me asking if that was recently? I've heard it's sped up a bit in last year or so. It takes what it takes though, I'm more worried about how you know it's processing.

She had her ceremony last year. Allegedly the sped up is the acknowledgement of receipt, it's seven months. There was questions in the Dail recently and the timeline is being fudged. Family member worked there for years, stays in touch. Staff are ridiculously busy we have thousands upon thousands who now want to be recognised as Irish post Brexit.

Thanks for reply, we shall see what happens from here then!
