I can't find the thread, but been worried about the lady who hasn't been well and been in A&E. I hope things have improved for her?

Do you mean AmberM223 with bowel issues? The thread was deleted by admin - something along the lines of how she is seeking medical attention and poor advice had been given by posters.

What about the other thread about 10 days ago with the woman who was not sure whether or not to go to A&E, she went in the end and was admitted with a perforated ulcer. She posted at the end to say that it was a good example of how it is not true that “if you are well enough to post on MN you are not ill enough to go to A&E”.

I was wondering today how she was getting on.

I came across a YouTube video once of a man who deliberately trolled mumsnet and recorded what happened with his threads, the PMs he got and who sent them. All made up crap from him.

Some people are just a bit strange with their spare time. You can't be sure who people are on the internet. It's just have a bit of caution.

I must admit the thread was one of the better troll threads and was almost, but not quite, believable.

I do wonder at the thought process of the people who make up stuff like that - pretty sad.

Massive influx of laxative trolls at the moment. It's obviously de rigueur amongst that set.

Tbf, some of the stuff I read on here who turn out to be trolls just make me wish I had that kind of imagination. It takes a little bit of skill to capture a large audience like that.

I'm pretty sure coprophiliacs are stuck in early childhood for some reason. The fetish is akin to ABDLs. Quite why they have to infiltrate a parenting forum is bizarre, although there will always be gullible people willing to share anecdotes, unfortunately.
