Mums 60th PLEASE HELP

It’s my mums 60th soon and I really want to surprise her with something lovely but I’m not sure! She isn’t into expensive stuff really so looking for ideas. Thinking maybe a mini break?

Does she like shows?

A night in London to see a musical?
Spa break?
York is lovely - you could have afternoon tea at Betty’s

For my mums 60th my sister and I took my mum away to a beautiful hotel with a spa. We had treatments when we got there and then a stunning meal in the evening. The next day after breakfast we had a lovely walk then made the trip back home.

Mini break is a great idea. It’s time with you she’ll want.

The smaller Italian cities - like Verona or Turin are really lovely.

I took my mum to Paris on Eurostar for her 60th, mainly because she'd never been abroad before and I wanted to ease her in!

Watching as trying to think of what to do for my own 60th!

Tbh, I don't really want to do anything but feel I should mark the day somehow. 🤷

I'm 60 in a year or so. Id love for my DDs to surprise me with a train journey, a night or two in a historic seaside town and food in quaint tea shops, cafes, fish x chips on the beach, lots of walking x talking x laughing.
