Squeamish about teeth and DD6 is starting to lose hers...

I have worked incredibly hard to overcome a dental phobia I had from childhood - I have had CBT, and am scrupulous about my teeth and go to the dentist and hygienist every six months, floss, use mouthwash etc.

My DD is now getting wobbly teeth and it is absolutely knocking me sick. I am really trying to not react but even looking at her wobbling her teeth is making me feel so sick.

Does anyone have any advice? It is really grim for me and I'm finding it genuinely nauseating.

Erggg... sounds hard OP! No real advice, but as with any phobia the only way to get over it is through exposure. The first tooth might have your skin absolutely crawling, but who's the say by the second or third one you mightn't have got a bit more used to it?! You never know!

@jf1992x argh I hope so - it is absolutely grim. I can hear the noise of her wobbling it and it is knocking me sick. I'm having to focus really hard on her eyes when she is talking instead of looking at her mouth!
