Coughing and pelvic floor issue

Hi all, has anyone experienced similar?

im nearly 18m pp with my second, never had any problems with my pelvic floor after either of them, did all the exercises etc but not done them for a year probably.

ive had this awful coughing virus that’s going around and my pelvic floor has suddenly taken annual leave and is seemingly non-existent when I cough, despite trying to engage the muscles ahead of a coughing spasm. I’m having to get changed multiple times a day.

do you think this is just an acute issue to do with the violent/regular coughing or should I get it seen to?

thanks for any advice!

It’s really important to do PFE daily, regardless of age.
However, it sounds like the leaking is just due to the coughing. It will likely stop when the cough goes. Do start doing PFE regularly though, it’s never too late to start.
