Pram recommendations please - we can’t decide

We’ve been to John Lewis and Mamas and Papas but just can’t decide and the price varies massively between models and brands as I’m sure most of you know.

We have the Bugaboo butterfly for 6 months plus and that’s probably what we will mainly use after that time.

It’s just something for the in between time. My maternity leave will span autumn and winter too where it might be muddy and we might need a pram with suspension.

  • Live suburbs, close to retail parks, a big shopping centre, but also some walks - country parks and the likes.
  • Ideally don’t want to pay over £1000 for the whole travel system, and that’s an absolute upper limit
  • We have two medium sized cars but not SUVs
  • Tiny house with carpeted hallway so won’t want to be routinely trailing muddy wheels through the house. It’ll usually be stored in our shoe cupboard under the stairs folded up, I expect

Can anyone suggest something that might fit? We are considering the Ocarro but everyone is telling us how heavy it’ll be.

Thanks :)

Honestly get any old second hand pram.

if you are in north London I have an nuna Demi in excellent condition you can have for £100 😅😅😅

Great shout on the butterfly post 6m btw

I’ve got the Ocarro and it’s not too heavy for getting in boot or anything. Baby seems to like sleeping in it and feels sturdy. I got the 8 piece travel system for £1100 in the sale but a friend got hers basically brand new for £250 on fb marketplace and just got it cleaned.

Agree look at marketplace if you only need it for 6 months anyway. We just paid £100 for a great condition Stokke Trailz with carrycot and seat attachments, fits (just!) in our Ford Fiesta and will hopefully serve us well for the beach and woodland walks we'll do most of.
