OXO Tower

Is basically a massive tower celebrating gravy in the middle of our City. Never made the connection. Random tower. Think there should be more everyday item towers.

My boss once offered to take me up The Oxo Tower. He had a reputation and because I couldn't be sure whether it was a euphemism, I politely declined.

It’s lovely, my husband took me up the OXO Tower for my birthday

It was a power station many moons ago. Then it was a cold store for the 'gravy' back in the day.

slightly boringly after the being taken up the Oxi Tower posts. Advertising next to the river is not allowed so the company made the OXO windows to get round the regulations. Agree with OP more random towers needed.

I like the randomness of it. Kind of old fashioned now, a kind of kitsch nod to the past.

I had no idea that there complete and utter filf attached to the OXO tower. I started on gravy and now I’m down for being taken up the OXO tower.

I used to work at the Oxo Tower brasserie (owned by Harvey Nichols). It was my first proper job when I emigrated to UK.
It was fun, paid well and got to meet so many celebrities there. This was about 25 years ago 😳
