Bangers and mash for tea this evening. DS(2) predictably ate all his mash, peas and gravy and refused all attempts to try a sausage. No problem. Ran a bath for him and ate a spare sausage while watching him in the bath at which point he demanded I give him my half eaten sausage. I gave it to him figuring he’d throw it once he realised what it was, but no. He dunked the sausage in the bath water and ate the whole thing. What’s even worse is that he asked for more and I was torn between disgust but also didn’t want to discourage a positive relationship with a new food so he’s sat in the bath and devoured two and a half sausages looking absolutely delighted with himself whereas I’m now questioning my life choices as a parent.

🤣🤣🤣 so funny!

My little one (1 nearly 2) managed to reach the food cupboard this afternoon. He totally ignored the chocolate & biscuits and brought the whole loaf of bread to me and demanded he had a piece 🤣 was rather funny. He only had his dinner 45 mins before this which was funny enough sausage & peas 🤣
