Help me understand my friends rudeness?

We met for coffee with another friend and we were talking about organising a day and couldn’t find a date that fit.

I commented that I was meeting up with six uni friends for a reunion lunch/drinks and it had taken ages to sort a date.

Friend said - I wouldn’t bother, it sounds really boring.

Oh get over it. So what if she thinks it sounds boring. Maybe it does to her. I hate reunions personally.
