Oh God has anyone heard the M&S in store jingle?

Heard if for the first time today. A full length version of Rockin All Over The World changed to Savings All Over the Store. Sung by a dodgy Quo tribute act. Soooo tacky…it made my ears bleed. Honestly i got irrationally angry.Why do they treat us like idiots?

And possibly you've had a sense of humour failure?

Look at the price of a packet of chocolate custard cream biscuits 2.50a packet.. That should make you laugh again op.

Definitely, bugger listening to that for a shift, reminds me of years ago in a clothes shop I worked we had to play company supplied tapes which were bloody awful (I substituted them for nsoul tapes on a Saturday to get me set for the weekend.

Omg I heard this today and couldn’t believe my ears. Totally agree OP, it is shockingly awful. Like- abandon your shopping and run out the door awful.

Is it as bad as the hellish shouty-singy Father Christmas tills in Poundland at Christmas?

I was in the fitting room at M&S yesterday and this awful song came over the sound system. As I've just now found this thread by@Sidebeforeself from January I guess I am fortunate not to have heard it till now (April).

I’m in agreement with@PartyAnimalTil9 because I was back in there this morning and it started up over the speakers again - I hurriedly gave the clothes back to the fitting room staff member and actually ran out of the store.

I really want to complain to M&S but I’m sure it’s pointless as presumably they think it’s great and probably spent a lot of money on it 🤨Also my son works there at the weekends so he’d be unimpressed if I made a complaint 😢
