Where can it be?

My son 5 has had a toy giraffe since birth. He took this and his blankie to my sil on Monday morning as she tales him to school when I commute (please no comments on he's too old, he doesn't take it to school bit gets very emotional and it helps) anyway I came home from work on Monday early evening and my mum had picked him up from my sister and taken him to mine (live opposite my sister so not far) my mum has no idea where the giraffe is. My sister is very good at hanging them over together and they went straight home. They did go to the local shop but he would have been unlikely to take it and I have checked it's not there. My mum has checked her car. Both my sister and I have helped each other turn over esch house and we can't find him.
Does anyone have any sense if where he might be. My son is in tears as he cuddles him every night. It seems like he can't be many places and we live physically so close but we just can't find him anywhere. If you were a toy giraffe where would you hide?

Has your mum checked really deeply under the seats in the car?

Not clear from the above - when was the last point your DS/SIL/mum remember the giraffe definitely being in your DS's possession?

Coffeesnob11 · 26/01/2024 20:17

No one can remember. I know he definitely left here with it on Monday early. My mum has checked her car twice. I will check it tomorrow. I am checking everywhere coat pockets, suitcase, kitchen cupboards etc.

Your car? Glove box.

Coffeesnob11 · 26/01/2024 20:27

Thanks, I already emptied my car out. My sister lives opposite so I walked him across and walked back and my mum did the same.

Maybe it fell out of the car? Check gutters where car was parked?
