Transferring employer's pension to SIPP. BC&E

Hello all,

I can never seem to get to the bottom of this.

My employer and I contribute to a defined contribution pension with BC&E (formerly the People's Pension).

I'd like to regularly move this money over to my SIPP with Vanguard. (I won't be drawing the pension for about 20 years) to get lower fees and a bigger choice of funds.

Can I do this?

Thanks

Im not an expert and so only think you can,, but find out the minimum you need to have in your company pension scheme so that it isn’t closed.. so your current company contributions can continue. If pension is closed then there’s nothing for your company to pay into.

It’s your decision but I’d say Always Make sure the transfer is actually in your best interest, so the investment with vanguard is not costing you more for example
