Have you done your tax return?

Usually I leave mine to January and promise myself every year I won't....

Last year I kept that promise and so for the first time every my January is tax return free!

But I also know there's a lot of people like the old me so here's my support if you need a kick up the bum to get yours done.

I do mine in May/June when my p60 is ready, the idea of it unnecessarily hanging over me for 9 months gives me the willies 😬

I did mine a couple of weeks ago, keep the tax in Premium Bonds as I know I can get it out quickly and do sometimes have some 'winnings'.

This will horrify a lot of Mumsnetters...

DH does mine. Always has done. Originally as a lot of the information was the same for both his and mine (rental property) and now because he enjoys doing them. Seriously, he enjoys tax returns..

Yes, but only just which I am really pissed off about. I was going to be organised this year, but the sodding outsourced data company we use made a mistake on my P11D and it took them FIVE MONTHS to fix it. So it arrived just before Christmas.

I do mine, DH, my sisters, my grandads, DH’s boss’ and some of DH colleagues’.

It is my job, but I do these for free in my spare time as I too quite enjoy it.

Im doing mine on Monday and Tuesday. Wish id already done it tbh

I done mine last weekend. Every year I say not going to leave it until the last minute. At least this year I was slightly early

Going to get started on 23/24 next week. I hate the thought of it and put it off. It's actually ok doing it.

DH does mine too. Always in Jan and I find it stressful. Not stressful enough to do it myself though! Paid it earlier this week which is unusually prompt for us. Would love to have it done and dusted in the summer!
