Car insurance comparison sites

My insurance with Direct Line has increased massively so I’m going to look elsewhere for the first time. Where are all the places I should look as I know that they aren’t all on the sites? Thanks.

I would use a couple of comparison sites to see how much of a difference your insurance would be compared to Direct Line. The benefit of these is that they also remind you when your insurance is coming up to renewal and they refresh your quotes, saving a fair amount of time. If you’re uncomfortable going with an insurer that you’re unfamiliar with, choose one from the list the comparison site gives you, that you recognise. When you click through to a provider’s site, the insurer lists all of the things covered in the premium and you can compare it with what you currently have.
