Hygienist appointment with a fixed retainer?

Very random question but...
I have a fixed retainer on my bottom teeth following orthodontic treatment 11 years ago. I'm due to see the Hygienist next week. It's the first Hygienist appointment I've ever had & I'm irrationally convinced they're going to break the retainer.
I just don't have the money to pay for a replacement at the moment and without it my teeth will move very quickly (previous experience).
Does anyone have a fixed retainer that's successfully survived a Hygienist appointment?
Told you it was random 😅

I have one and it has survived a few cleans

I’m a hygienist. We see these regularly and clean around them easily. It’ll be fine

I have a fixed retainer and it survived several hygienist cleans.

I have a fixed retainer which has survived the hygienist for years but my teeth never feel as clean as they did pre retainer. I miss a good floss too!
