Can you tape phone calls?

I’m trying to sort out an issue I’ve got. The person I’m dealing with at the company is rude, aggressive and patronising. He also accused me of things and gaslit me when I pulled him up on his behaviour.

I may have to speak to him again today, even though I’ve escalated it up the chain.

Can I record conversations on my phone? iPhone.

Not sure but you might have to disclose to them that you're recording

I’ve tried and failed to do this, the only way I’ve managed it is to put the phone on speaker phone and then use the voice note app on the iPad to record. But you have to start it after the call as the incoming call cancels the recording so you have to answer the phone then open and press record on the iPad. That’s if you have another device you can record on, or an old phone somewhere you can use just to record on.

You can download Microsoft voice recorder from google play to your i phone and it will record for a 30 minute conversation.

If their end is recorded log a complaint with the person's manager and ask them to review the calls.

You can but you need their consent to share it to a third party, how about wattsapp instead.

If its a work situation can you have another person sitting in and the call on loudspeaker

Just download "call recorder" from the App store.

If you have a second device, make the call on speakerphone and press record on the second device.
