Love her singing her song though I do also like Whitney's 90s cover.

What songs do you think are better as covers, and vice versa?

Thunder's cover of Gimme Shelter is way better than the Rolling Stones

Dolly Parton's I will Always Love You is a beautiful, heartbreaking quiet song. Completely and utterly ruined by Whitney singing it at top belt. Urgh.

I will rot in hell for this but Mott the Hoople's cover of All The Young Dudes is better than Bowie. (sorry sorry sorry)

Pat Benetar's version of Don't Let it Show is better than the Alan Parsons Project's original
