Hair colour at hair dressers

Would a hair dresser dye hair using a non-salon dye?

I use a specific colour which I love - at the moment I have a mobility issue which means I can't do it myself right now.

If I took in my usual brand, would a salon be willing to use it or would they see it as a risk issue?

You might be better asking a hairdresser who does home visits? Can’t see a salon doing it.

You could take it in and see if they could recreate the colour? Mine makes up my colour with various different shades

In my experience, most hairdressers will not do this because their insurance doesn't cover it, they're only insured using their own products.

No, insurance won't cover them.
