Things that 'Alexa' pronounces in a strange way

I add things I need to my shopping list by telling Alexa to add them to my shopping list. Today, I ran out of margarine, so said to Alexa to add Vitalite to my shopping list. I pronounced it to rhyme with Fight A Light, but she read it back to me to rhyme with Feet A Meet Eh. (Try it if you have an Alexa device).

I was wondering what other things you have found Alexa pronounces in a funny way, so that I can amuse myself by asking her to add them to my shopping list.

Alexa and I are always disagreeing on pronunciation. She punishes me by putting things on my shopping list that aren't even close to what I said to her. Many a time I've looked at the list and not even been able to guess.

Anyone want to hazard a guess what food items "rock and roll", "stuff to it" and "sewer" are?

My guess is broccoli, stuffing and Sure deodorant.

I listen to Shag Marry avoid podcast. She cannot say Shagged!

In December, I asked Alexa to play Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens. She said Shacking Stevens. It made me laugh far too much.

You can't add Shakey to your shopping list but still.

Radio. She says Rayo for some reason.

I just tried adding both radio and shagging to my shopping list and she repeated both back to me perfectly!

(I did delete them again afterwards. I don't want someone else trying to do the shopping from that list!)
