In my younger years, I always thought the words of the Wombles song were
'Underground, overground, wombling free
The wombles of Wimbledon,
Common are we...'
with the comma after Wimbledon.
It always puzzled me thinking it what ways were they "common".
I was quite a lot older before I realised my error.

Anyone care to share classic examples where punctuation should or should not have been used, causing grammatical confusion?
*Or, as my case proved, the misuse of a punctuation mark, where there should not have been one 😳
