My partner has recently come into some money, which is allowing him to pursue his dream career. I am absolutely ecstatic for him, but it has got me thinking about what it is I want to do…
Space. That’s the dream. I would love to work for the UK Space Agency, European Space Agency, be faculty at the International Space University etc. etc.
Only issue is I live in Scotlands central belt. There would be no way for us to move for quite a while as DC are in school and partner is guaranteed a job here upon completion of his training. I’m interested in space law/sustainability, and also the research into insulin/diabetes, but there are no career prospects here (except a couple of satellite companies from what I can see, who mostly require engineers…).
So is anyone else here interested in space? If you could work in the industry where would you start? Does anyone work in the space industry? Any insight? I’d love to hear ☺️
