Childcare 15 hours CODE HELP

Can anyone who has successfully acquired a code for this please provide a step by step guide for those who haven’t?

I’ve just reconfirmed my details through the tax free childcare portal, but couldn’t see anywhere to get the code to give my nursery.

I know it doesn’t start until April, but it’s going to take me until then to make sense of it.

There isn’t anything extra you needed to do when reconfirming. The code will come through automatically. You will get an alert that you have a message on your account, and you will get the usual confirmation that your reconfirmation has been successful plus a separate message confirming your 15 hour code. It really isn’t clear unless you’ve been through the process before with an older child, almost as if they don’t want us claiming the support?!

Do you need a code if it’s just the 15 hours for 3 year olds? We didn’t qualify for 30 hours so just got 15 - never had to submit a code. This was 2 years ago.

This is a different thing. New funding is coming in from 1 April.

How do pay nursery - code + pay the top up separately from your own account or transfer money from the childcare account directly?
(also new to codes, although I use tax free childcare)
