Best cream/powder for baby’s neck chub?

I’ve got an adorable, squishy 11 week old who unfortunately has a habit of puking after most feeds, and we clean him up but he’s now getting quite a sore looking area in the fold of his little chubby neck under his chin which is quite hard to get properly dry. Can anyone recommend a powder or cream to use on it? I’ve been using weleda nappy change cream as it works so nicely on bums but I feel like I should use something that will help it to stay dry.

Sudocrem! 100%. Works like a charm. He'll have some white residue left in his creases from it but it'll clear the soreness.

It's a bit of a miracle cream in my experience- for all sorts of skin issues. A little goes a long way - if you buy a big pot you'll probably still be using it a decade from now.

Congrats on your new arrival!

We used to use nappy rash cream.

I wouldn’t recommend powder. You need something nice and greasy to form a barrier. Nappy cream, e45, sudocrem, or even Vaseline. Anything like that.
