How to support DD (13) at such a sad and distressing time (Norfolk tragedy)

Not saying too much but my DD aged 13 is devastated as her best friend from primary school was one of the beautiful girls who died at the house in Norfolk.
I'm trying my best to support her and she is being incredibly mature and caring about it, but understandably she's really upset.

I have to go out now but any good suggestions for helping her would be very welcome please.❤️

I can't stop thinking about those poor beautiful girls. It's so heartbreaking 💔

These may help:

I would also talk to her school - they may have a counsellor that they use

Oh no - your poor DD. That's a lot to come to terms with for anyone, and especially at such a young age. Will her school be offering any support? I would start there, and make enquiries.

I don't live in the UK, I had to have a quick google. Oh God how absolutely awful those poor poor girls

I suppose all you can do is support your daughter through her grief. She won't be able to make sense of it - grown adults won't be able to make sense of it.

Are the school putting in any support? I guess if they are at different secondary schools there won't be but I would get in contact with her class/ year head. Maybe in a little while a grief counsellor might be a good idea. Nothing at all like this but when my sister died most of my family went to grief counselling,, I didn't but I really should have
