Is it just me or does anyone else find Jason Manford detestable

Was just searching for some tickets for something and his face appeared on my screen. I can't explain why, but I just cant' stand him. Not even the sight of him apparently.
I don't find him even remotely funny but he seems to be on quite a lot of shows, so I guess some people must find him amusing, I don't see it. There's just something about him that makes me think he is probably a bit of a twat in general.
Is he funny? Am I the problem here?

He makes my skin crawl.

I’ve met him in person and he was perfectly nice and not creepy. But hes clearly let fame go to his head as he definitely isn’t as attractive as he thinks he is.

He’s annoying.

He’s like that bloke in every office who’s funny enough but not nearly as funny as he thinks he is.

And of course, fame meant he had to cheat on his wife left right and centre.

It was during in lockdown that he volunteerd every day to take vulnerable people to appointments.. did their shopping.
He always interacts with fans.
Gives thousands away to charity and people in need.
It's just an all round good down to earth guy.

There are very few so called comedians I can stand. JM isn’t one of them, nor is Michael McIntyre, who is forever on TV. In fact, I can’t think of any I’d pay money to see.

I feel like he does all that sort of thing to bolster his image tbh.

There's something about him that seems like he's not genuine at all. Like a fake friendliness/ warmth that you can see straight through. I feel this way about lots of TV presenters though.

@Moier There's a few less than lovely people who've given a lot to charity.

I think he's done some nice things via social media i.e. promoted and offered words of advice for a young female comedian who also happened to be very pretty. He was caught cheating on his wife I think while on tour years ago sending messages to a fan and it led to his divorce.

Whenever I hear of a famous man who is a confirmed "love rat" its always in the back of my mind when I see them on TV or read about them and while I might find then amusing or entertaining I could never actually like or respect them.

Can't abide him. I get bad vibes off him. I've met James Corden briefly and he was oddly uncharacteristically pleasant although I understand he's a shyte.

I get bad feelings from him. He loves to share himself on social media doing good deeds so everyone can tell him what a great guy he is.
