Ibiza or Cyprus for early October?

Am planning a one week villa holiday for grown up family members (3 couples) for a significant birthday, in either Cyprus, Paphos area, or Ibiza (any non-party resort).
Which is likely to be the best weather wise, Ibiza or Cyprus? Is Ibiza dearer than Cyprus for eating out and villas? And will resorts be open early Oct? Any pointers on which to choose gratefully received.

Cyprus will have better weather, hot during the day but you will need a cardi at night.

Cyprus will probably be cheaper and warmer. Probably more open / to do in Cyprus.
