I have had a cough for well over a month now.
Today I woke up and I can't twist my body without my ribs hurting and I can't lift my arms, it hurts more to breathe out than in and coughing kills.
I am going to try and get a doctor's appointment first thing tomorrow morning, but our surgery opens at 8:30 and appointments are normally gone by 9:30.
So wish me luck please x

This shows the last 2 times I tried to call, by the time I got through all appointments had gone.
Was told to phone 111 so I did and they said a doctor would call back, guess what both times I spoke to a doctor at my surgery!!!!!!
Are other people's surgeries like this?

Hmm, that sounds a little bit how I felt when I had pleurisy.

I hope you manage to get through in the morning, but it might be worth a call to 111.

Luckily my surgery are really good. Appointments go quickly but you can request a call from a doctor same day. They always call and either prescribe over the phone or as you to come in if they want to see you.

At our surgery all initial appointments are phone calls with the GP or paramedic then they will tell you to go in if necessary.
