DD has washed her build a bear with its voice box still in it

DD's much loved build a bear lost its voice years ago, and she completely forgot that he even had a voice box. She has given the bear a bath (he was soaked through), and the arm with the old voice box, was completely submerged

Not sure what the implications of this are with regard to the wet battery... what can we do?

Remove the voice box or at least the battery? and dispose of. Hang the bear up to dry.

They can remove (and replace) voice boxes in store so they're sewn up again. They'll add in a bit of extra stuffing if they've gone a bit thin too.

But obviously you can do it yourself too.
